Hi, I'm Hamza.
I'm a left—handed, near—sighted, Toronto—based, Brand Designer with
quite a good eye for detail.
I enjoy designing for brands that resonate with people.
Experience
My work blends strategic thinking with hands-on design, delivering thoughtful, flexible visuals across both print and digital platforms.
I also led a brand refresh, redesigning core visuals to create a cohesive identity across platforms. My work spanned print, digital, and apparel, and I provided art direction for all major campaigns.
For theatre productions, I started with rough sketches and worked closely with playwrights to understand the heart of each story. From there, I translated their ideas into posters and programs that reflected the tone and setting of the play. Every piece combined illustration, layout, and typography—bringing their vision to life with the full range of tools at my disposal.
About
Before becoming a complete design nerd, I was making business cards, greeting cards, thank-you cards, just about any type of card for friends & family. I started learning to code and design at a young age. I've been fortunate to work with some amazing people and companies throughout my career and I'm always looking for new challenges when I'm not busy with my current role or volunteering community time.
I studied Mobile Computing at Sheridan College, where I focused on mobile design and digital experiences. I saw how powerful branding can be in shaping thoughtful, user-centered work.
Today, as a designer, I apply the principles of empathy and craft to connect with people and build strong brands. My specialty is transforming complicated and unclear into simple and beautiful.
Outside of work, you can usually find me kicking around a soccer ball, catching a late-night movie, or hanging out with my family & a few friends.
